Transformer Made in Indonesia - Video Review

i suddenly reminded to a post in KasKus, so many people believe that it is the largest community site in Indonesia . this thread, you see, the thread starter (or we usually call it "TS") put an interesting title. he/she wrote "Transformer Indonesian Version, MUST SEE!!". well, i was kinda surprised and interested that i never heard anything about Indonesian made a transformer film, though some news said that there is an Indonesian working on animation for Transformers 3. so i checked it up.

the post was simple, no further explanation given, no information about the creator and animator, it's just that video. i thought the TS would give a short review, but i thought as long as i could see the video it is no problem. you could read the thread here, oh, and after that there are so many posts telling the same thing, i took this one 'cause this is the oldest thread among posts.

so, before i tell you guys some facts about the video, i'll let you guys watch it first, enjoy!

Indonesian Version of Transformer

review: first of all, i am happy knowing that our animators are in progress . it is hard to find a good animations made by Indonesians nowadays i admit. seeing this makes me happy to know that our animators have started to do a progress. good luck for you guys! the story is so simple, a peaceful day suddenly turned to be a freaking day 'cause an alien mothership attack the traditional market with a magic beam that could make vehicles live and transformed into a freaking robots. overall, this video captured the real condition of Indonesia. the film takes place in a traditional market, you could feel the crowded and see shops that exists in places like that. the crowd voices, street vendors, people's dress and so many things inside the video are nearly real. this is why i love this video so much, because the creators did not try to make the story place somewhere else__and they're succeed! though the duration is only about 4 minutes, this video could entertain me. and though you can see some animations are not working well and not too smooth, this is enough to entertain me for the whole 4 minutes. the storyline is also simple. if i was never watch the real transformer before, i would understand what transformer means by just watching this video. unlike others homemade transformers videos which are taking famous places, the creators seems confidence with their environment. and they are successfully mix the high-tech transformers story into the old fashioned transportation in Indonesia. i still love the story, i just wish there will be more animation like this coming out, or at least they continue the trailer, just like what it said in the video
